I can’t afford to provide paid family leave to my staff, but it’s something both they and I could really use. In fact, when my wife and I had a baby she had paid time off, and I would have loved to have some guaranteed income for myself while I took time off too. Instead, I barely took off any time to be with my child and wife. The FAMILY Act is a great proposal that would immediately benefit me and my employees by providing small businesses a critical benefit they don’t have access to right now.”
